Completing the Preparation of the Full Set of the Computer Font “KSA Font”

 

    Computer Font “KSA Font”: It is a mixture of Naskh font and some recent computer fonts. It is used for writing headlines which require thick font. It can be also used for writing texts a little thicker than normal computer fonts.

This was explained by the Secretary General of King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex, Talal bin Razen Al-Rehaili. He pointed out that some aesthetic improvements were taken into account in the aforementioned computer font, in terms of the way the letters are written, compared to other similar fonts. The computer font consists of four different styles:

KSA Regular

It is little thicker than the traditional font. It is used to write normal text in letters, etc.

 

 

KSA Regular Bold

It is little thicker than KSA Regular font. It is valid for writing paragraph headings in letters, books, etc.

 

KSA Extra

It is used to write headlines on the outer covers of books, etc.

 

 

 

KSA Heavy

It is used to write large headlines in visual presentations, etc.

 

KSA Heading

It is used to write texts on street signboards, etc.
