The Ministry signs with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Djibouti an executive program to activate the memorandum of understanding in the field of Islamic action
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance signed with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Culture and Endowments of the Republic of Djibouti the executive program of the memorandum of understanding between the two ministries in the field of Islamic affairs, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Al Shaikh, and His Excellency Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Culture and Endowments of Djibouti Mr. Momen Hassan Barreh. The Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs Shaikh Mohammad bin Abdul Wahed Al-Arefi has represented the ministry and the Secretary General of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Culture and Endowments Mr. Shoaib Ajal Al-Saghir has represented Ministry of Islamic Affairs of Djibouti in signature. The executive program of the agreement included several items, such as: implementing a number of programs for the year 1442 /1443 AH, corresponding to the year 2020 /2021 AD through diplomatic channels, providing the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Culture and Endowments of the Republic of Djibouti with copies of the Glorious Qur'an and translation of its meanings, as well as the Ministry’s editions of publications and books, and exchanging the invitations to attend seminars, Islamic conferences and competitions of memorization, Tajweed and interpretation of the Glorious Qur'an that are held in the two countries during the year 1441/1442 AH, corresponding to the year 2020/2021 AD. The signing of the executive program with the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Djibouti comes within the framework of continuous efforts exerted by the Ministry in the service of Islamic action abroad, under the following-up and supervision of His Excellency Minister Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh, in line with the pioneering role of the Kingdom in serving Islam and Muslims in the world, and contributing in consolidation its great principles that are based on moderation and rejection of extremism and fanaticism.
