The Interactive Audio Musḥaf for the Visually Impaired:
KFGQPC is looking forward to serving the Glorious Qur’an on various aspects, paying great attention to people with different disabilities, such as the deaf-mute, and others, and seeking to apply technology to meet the needs of these categories.
The idea of the project is based on linking the sense of touching of the person with a visual disability for the pages of the Musḥaf that are printed in Braille, with the audible sound of what is written by a laser beam that reads the code of the words of the Glorious Qur’an and connected to the finger of the blind, and moving from one Ayah to another by touching the page’s words, or by an external card indexed with the names and numbers of the Surahs, interpretations, books, and translations, or by an electronic device attached to the Musḥaf printed in Braille.
The Glorious Qur’an program with voice commands for mobile phones operating on Android:
It is an interactive educational program for the Glorious Qur’an that works with voice commands on the Android system, and on devices that are programmed with this system, such as SAMSUNG GALAXY and others.
It depends on activating smart commands, in terms of processing voice commands, with the correct response, in case the pronunciation differs from one person to another, as well as after the end of recitation or memorization, such as: returning to the main menu, returning to the Qur’an memorization list, repeating the memorization session, listening to the interpretation of Ayahs, turning off the program, and so on.
