His Excellency the Minister: The State's General Budget Bore Indications and Evidences in Terms of Numbers, about the Size, Strength and Durability of the Kingdom's Economy

His Excellency the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh, extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the wise King and just Ruler, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and to His Highness the Crown Prince, may Allah protect them, on the occasion of the issuance of the Saudi budget for 2020. His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh, praised, in his statement on this occasion, the noble contents of the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, on the occasion of the issuance of the state’s general budget for the fiscal year 2020, which reflects great keenness and great care from His Highness to implement economic reforms, and to improve the level of services provided to citizens and residents of this blessed country, and to provide them with all means of decent life in accordance with the highest global standards. His Excellency stressed that the budget contained indications and evidence, in terms of numbers, about the size, strength and durability of the Kingdom's economy, which confirms the progress towards achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and the national programs arising from it. His Excellency added: "because of Allah's support for this blessed country, which assumed the service of Islam and Muslims, and observance of the Two Holy Mosques and those who visit them, the budget came to fulfill the aspirations of the Saudi citizen and the people of the Islamic world, taking into consideration the Kingdom's great influence on the whole world, as the Kingdom is the largest producer and exporter of petroleum energy, which is the backbone of the global economy." His Excellency also said: "We enjoy permanent happiness and pleasure because we in this blessed country, thanks to Allah, are enjoying a wise rule, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the wise King and just Ruler, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, may Allah support him, as well as the tireless follow-up by His Highness the Crown Prince, Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah grant him success. Both of them are very keen on securing all aspects of decent life for the people. In addition, they seek to achieve the citizens' well-being and prosperity, and provide them with security and stability. His Excellency noted that the efficient financial policy adopted by our wise leadership in working to implement reforms in various fields, especially in the economic field and restructuring it to achieve balance between maintaining financial sustainability and promoting economic growth and development, and support the economic transformation stage in accordance with Kingdom’s Vision 2030, while continuing to increase efficiency and effectiveness, and keeping the improvement of the main services provided to citizens in all fields of life. Moreover, the private sector is empowered and stimulated with a number of huge investment initiatives, so that it could perform its role efficiently, and contribute effectively to achieve the economic transformation of the Kingdom in accordance with the Vision of 2030. At the end of his statement, he supplicated to Allah Almighty to save our dear country, and maintain its glory, welfare, stability, security and faith under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah save and support them, and grant them success, and may Allah reward them with the finest reward, and prolong their life in obeying Allah, and keep them as an asset to the country and citizens.
