His Excellency the Minister: The Speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Comes as an Official Document and Road Map for the Internal and External Policies of the Kingdom

His Excellency the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh, noted that the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, may Allah support him, during the annual speech delivered by him in this Shura Council, yesterday, Wednesday the twenty third of Rabi’ Al-Awal 1441 AH, at the outset of the works of the fourth year of the seventh session of Shura Council. His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Abdullatif Al Ashaikh, stressed that this speech is reflecting the Royal care that the Shura Council receives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, wise King and just Ruler, Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect him. His Excellency praised the content of the speech in terms of delightful signs for the people of this country, since it included all kinds of good for the people of this blessed land, in order to fulfill their needs and achieve their aspirations. In addition, the speech contained statement of the Kingdom’s clear and express stance towards all the regional and international political current issues, at the forefront the Palestinian cause, which is the foremost cause of the Arab and Muslims, in addition to supporting our brothers in Yemen against Houthi rebels who are supported by Iran, the pivot of evil in the region. His Excellency the Minister added that the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, is an extraordinary speech that derives its importance from the one delivering it, as it is expected by everyone, and is waited by the country, the citizens and residents, as well as those who is interested in Saudi affairs. This is due to the fact that the Kingdom has a huge impact on the political, economic and religious levels, which made it a pivotal country for Arabs and Muslims and internationally. His Excellency also said that the Kingdom is continuing to achieve progress and prosperity under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, to achieve more developmental accomplishments according to 2030 vision launched by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince. His Excellency asserted that the Kingdom's classification by the World Bank as being the most advanced country and the first ranking country in terms of reform amongst the 190 countries in the world, reflects the keenness of wise leadership on moving forward to implement its reform programs. His Excellency pointed out that this Royal speech came as an official document, and draw a road map for everything related to internal and external matters of the Kingdom. His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may Allah support him, was also keen on telling his people about the path of economy and stability that they enjoy regarding income diversity, advancing the private sector and reducing unemployment. His Majesty also discussed the internal security situation, and how united and coherent the Kingdom's people are, their positive engagement with their Rulers, which lead to turning down all desperate attempts to threaten national unity, incite sedition and undermine security in our country. Moreover, the comprehensive development all over the Kingdom was also included in a great part of the Royal speech, as the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz pointed out to the huge projects proposed and implemented to bolster the inclusive development in our dear country, the last of which was offering Aramco for public subscription. His Excellency the Minister indicated that the assertion by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of adherence to the religious constants on which the Kingdom has been based, since being founded by the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud, is a constant approach of our state, in order to preserve the principles of the tolerant faith, serve Islam and Muslims, spread the Islamic Da'wah according to the approach of moderation, avoidance of exaggeration and extremism and establish the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence with the peoples of the world. At the conclusion of his statement His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh, supplicated to Allah, the Most High, to bestow abundant health on the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Highness, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, to increase their success for everything that is good for the country and citizens, to preserve the Kingdom and its people from all misfortune and evil, and to perpetuate the blessing of security, faith, stability and prosperity for us.
