His Excellency the Minister Launches a Campaign Entitled “Share Life and Donate Blood”

Today, His Excellency Minister Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdeluziz Al Ashaikh launched a blood donation campaign for the Ministry’s employees under the slogan “Share Life and Donate Blood”, organized by the Ministry in cooperation with King Fahd Medical City, and will last for three days. This campaign comes as a part of the Ministry's continuous efforts in such humanitarian works, which the noble Islamic Shari’a called for in a framework of compassion, synergy, solidarity, and cooperation, and based on sensing the due responsibility over everybody towards the members of society. This campaign is an extension of similar initiatives presented by the Ministry in cooperation with governmental hospitals to participate in the implementation of such charitable works that contribute to supporting blood banks with quantities that can be used to save the lives of patients and injured. It is worth noting that the medical staff who performs the blood donation process conducts a full medical examination of the donor to determine the extent of his ability to donate, and whether he is free from infectious diseases.
