His Excellency the Minister receives the Malaysian Minister of Religious Affairs

His Excellency the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh, received in his office in the Ministry’s headquarters, today, His Excellency the Cabinet Minister and the Religious Affairs Official in Malaysia, Dr. Mujahid Yusuf Rawa, and his accompanying delegation. At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif Al Ashaikh welcomed his Malaysian counterpart and his accompanying delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay in their second country, the the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and for the government and people of Malaysia security, stability and prosperity. His Excellency the Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al Ashaikh confirmed that the Kingdom, since its foundation by the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al-Saud, may Allah have mercy on him, has adopted an approach of moderation. In addition, the Kingdom is spreading the Islamic call in the optimal way that is based on mercy for the peoples of the world, indicating that the Kingdom, with the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Righteous King and Just Ruler, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, may Allah support him, and the follow-up by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah maintain his success, is providing financial and in-kind assistance to the peoples of the world as a whole, unconditionally, because of its position and leadership of the Islamic world, since it is the birthplace of revelation, and the site from which the light of the Muhammadan message has emerged. Moreover, it contains the Qiblah of the Muslims, the Sacred Kaaba, and the Two Holy Mosques. His Excellency the Minister Al Ashaikh reiterated that extremism is an intruder in our country, and it came from the people who hold the ideology of political Islam, who have deceived the children and ignorant people having no knowledge, so they followed them blindly. In turn, the Kingdom has faced terrorist acts caused by them. However, thanks to Allah, and then thanks to the wise measures taken by our wise leadership, these acts have been eliminated, and the Kingdom has become an example of security, stability, and unity of the loyal Saudi people with their wise leadership. His Excellency reviewed the efforts made by the Ministry in spreading the Islamic call according to the approach of moderation and rejection of extremism, in addition to serving the Book of Allah, and direct supervision over King Fahd Glorious Qur’an Printing Complex, pointing out the great achievements of the Complex this year by producing more than 18 million copies of various publications and Translations of the Meanings of the Glorious Qur’an into 74 international languages, all of which are distributed for free, in order to spread the Book of Allah, and to support Muslims everywhere. This is the Kingdom’s message to the Islamic world. For his part, the Malaysian Minister expressed his appreciation of the meeting with His Excellency the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh, and the good reception and cordial hospitality that he found, looking forward to strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two Ministries to spread the values and the tolerance of Islam, serve the Islamic call, take care of the houses of Allah, and train the Imams and Khatibs. Moreover, he extended great thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, may Allah preserve them, for the Kingdom’s remarkable and commendable efforts as for serving Islam and Muslims, looking after the Two Holy Mosques and pilgrims, and providing all facilities and services for those who perform Hajj, Umrah and the visitors. The Malaysian minister praised the consensus of views on all fields of joint Islamic action at the meeting, which would demonstrate the advantages of Islam, and address negative phenomena in Islamic societies.
