His Excellency the Minister meets the Commissioner of Auckland City Police of New Zealand

  His Excellency the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdul Aziz Al-AShaikh, received yesterday in the Ministry’s headquarters at Al-Khaif Mosque, the Commissioner of Auckland City Police of New Zealand, Naila Hassan, who attended to perform the Hajj within the Guests of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit, among them were the families of the victims and the injured in the attack that has happened in Al Noor Mosque in Christchurch. At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the New Zealand policewoman, wishing that Allah accept her Hajj and have mercy on her. He said: "All those hosted as the Guests of Custodian of Two Holy Mosques Program for Hajj, Umrah and Visit are under the care of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Good King and the Just Ruler Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the follow-up by His Highness, the Crown Prince, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, may Allah protect them, who follow this program and actions and services provided by it to those covered by the hosting. His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif Al-AShaikh indicated that what has befallen the brothers in New Zealand has inflicted pain on the Muslims all over the world. "We in the Kingdom have suffered from the affliction of our brothers. I hope that this crime would not affect the Muslims in New Zealand, and that they would be an example for others in order not to commit any counter acts inconsistent with the teachings of our true religion. In addition, I hope that they would work with the rest of the New Zealand people in building their country." His Excellency pointed out that what happened in New Zealand is an irrefutable evidence that terrorism belongs to no religion or sect. He made clear that Islam enjoins to have mercy on human beings, and that the Kingdom is working hard to help all countries of the world, which is a well-established policy for this blessed country; since its establishment, it has offered charity to Muslims all over the world, helped those who need help, and supported them regardless of their countries and religions, according to the great principles of Islam which are based on moderation and tolerance. His Excellency, the Minister, noted to the mission of His Highness, the Crown Prince, may Allah protect him, in spreading moderation, pointing out that His Highness works day and night under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in order to spread love and peace in all countries of the world. He added that what we see today regarding the attack on the Kingdom’s leaders is due to the fact that they want to move the Kingdom to the moderate approach, although there are those who fight these trends. He stressed that the Kingdom is strong by its adherence to its religion, the support of its people and all loyal Muslims. His Excellency reiterated that the Kingdom's leadership provides the Two Holy Mosques, those who perform Hajj and Umrah and visitors, with additional and continuous care. The Kingdom has offered all support and established vital projects in the Two Holy Mosques, and the Sacred Places, which made pilgrims, with Allah's help, perform their rituals with ease, comfort and reassurance. For her part, the Commissioner of Auckland City Police of New Zealand, Naila Hassan, has expressed her thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, may Allah protect him, for the care and appreciation he gives to Muslims in the world, and his constant endeavors to provide security, stability and happiness for them. She referred to the great services provided by the Kingdom to the guests of Allah, in general, and the guests of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in particular, which fostered a feeling of gratitude in the hearts of the families of the martyrs, had a great impact in overcoming their ordeal, and relieving them in their affliction. She also confirmed that the Kingdom is a resort for all Muslims in the world, and that its efforts in caring about their interests are appreciated. In addition, all those hosted praised the Kingdom's leading role in caring about the needs of Muslims and helping them in their issues, and paying tribute to its good efforts in spreading the true moderate Islam, rejecting extremism, and combating terrorism. At the conclusion of her speech, she expressed thanks and gratitude, on behalf of the families of the victims of the terrorist incident in New Zealand, to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and his Highness the Crown Prince, and to the Ministry led by Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif Al-AShaikh, for the services provided to them since they left their country until this day, where the pilgrims enjoy performing all the rituals in an atmosphere of faith.
