His Excellency the Minister receives the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman

His Excellency, the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh received on Wednesday, 2/3/1441 AH, at his residence in the Omani capital Muscat, His Excellency, the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Shaikh Abdallah Bin Mohammad Al Salmi, on the margin of the fifth meeting of the Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). 

At the beginning of the meeting, the Omani Minister welcomed His Excellency, Dr. Abdullatif Al Ashaikh, noting the deep historical relations between the two countries, and bilateral cooperation in various fields, especially those related to Islamic issues. He praised the great role of the Kingdom, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Highness the loyal Crown Prince, in serving Islam and Muslims, and caring about the affairs of the Two Holy Mosques. 

On his part, His Excellency the Minister Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh praised the fifth meeting of the Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs held in Oman, as being characterized by good preparation and organization by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman. He hoped that this meeting would be a start for goodness and blessing for all, and would achieve the visions and aspirations of their Majesties, Excellencies and Highnesses, the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, which enhances the values of joint Islamic action based on the approach of moderation, tolerance, and protecting our societies from extremism and terrorism.
