His Excellency the Minister Receives the UAE Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments

His Excellency the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al AShaikh, received, on Wednesday 2 Rabi' Al-Awwal 1441 AH, at his residence in the Omani capital, Muscat, His Excellency the Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of the United Arab Emirates, Dr. Mohammad bin Mattar Al-Kaabi, on the sidelines of the fifth meeting of the Ministers of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in the countries of Gulf Cooperation Council. 

 At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Abdullatif Al Ashaikh, praised the strong and deep brotherly relations between the Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, and the continuous cooperation in all issues and fields that serve the two sisterly states, especially those related to the Islamic affairs. 

On his part, His Excellency, Dr. Mohammad Al-Kaabi, praised the initiatives offered by the Kingdom, which were discussed in the meeting relating to combating terrorism, caring for the family and protecting young people, and investing in social media to show the civilized image of our true Islamic religion. He also noted paying attention to the important role of Khatibs to carry out their mission in society. He also paid tribute to the prominent and influential role played by the Kingdom and its wise leadership in serving Islam, taking care of the Two Holy Mosques, and those who visit them, and spreading moderation.
