His Excellency the Minister directs to Khatibs to talk about preserving public money

His Excellency, the Minister, Dr. Abdullatif Bin AbdulAziz Al Ashaikh, directed the esteemed Khatibs of mosques in all the regions of the Kingdom to dedicate the next Friday sermon for talking about integrity and preservation of public money. The directive also included that Khatibs tackle the illegality of wasting and disregarding public money or other forms of infringement, the importance of performing one’s employment duties, as well as instilling the values of working hard, saving time, being honest, truthful and faithful, and preventing the use of public or private jobs not for their specified purpose This in addition to making clear the religious and national duty to inform about any financial and administrative irregularities. His Excellency’s directive comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to activate the role of mosques in contributing to spread Islamic awareness, and informing people about their religious and worldly matters, and their important role in terms of referring to some topics and issues that ought to be reminded of, and which contribute to the cohesion of the society, protecting it from negative phenomena, and promoting positive behaviors.
