His Excellency the Minister: Serving Citizens and Receiving their Inquiries is My Main Concern; Our Doors are Open
His Excellency the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh, inspected, today, Monday, the twenty-sixth of Rabi` Al-Thani 1441 AH, the Unified Communication Center (1933), after being moved to its new headquarters in the head office of the Ministry, in the presence of His Excellency the Deputy Minister, Mr. Youssuf bin Mohammad bin Said, and senior ministry officials. At the beginning of the tour, His Excellency the Minister listened to an explanation about the Center’s work mechanism, that aims to improve the level of services provided to citizens, based on the belief that it is important to listen to the voices of citizens and residents when they express their comments and suggestions about the services provided to them by the Ministry, and in accordance with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. His Excellency the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh, recommended the Center’s workers to be diligent and keen on receiving the requests and inquiries of citizens with all appreciation, and to provide them with all support. His Excellency also stressed the importance that the Ministry’s branches perform their duties quickly regarding the processing of comments received from citizens. He also mentioned that serving citizens and caring for them is one of the priorities for which the Center was established, so that it would be a link between citizens and the Ministry, in order to achieve the visions and aspirations of our wise leadership. His Excellency the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Ashaikh, concluded: "All doors are open to citizens" by calling or visiting His Excellency’s office to make suggestions that would develop all areas of work in the Ministry, and also to submit comments and complaints. All of these will be appreciated and observed. He supplicated to Allah, the the Most High, to help everyone in serving the religion, and then the King and country. It is worth mentioning that the Center is one of the various tools for communicating with the citizens to provide the services assigned to it. Since it was inaugurated by His Excellency the Minister on the fifteenth of Safar 1440 AH, until the eighteenth of Rabi’ Al-Thani 1441 AH, the Center has received (38,356) calls, that included inquiries about the services of the mosques, Da'wah matters, associations for memorizing Qur’an, collaborative offices and the Ministry affairs. The Center's staff followed up on processing these received communications with the competent bodies in the Ministry and its branches, in the framework of the mandate of each entity.
