King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex Sterilizes the Old Manuscripts and Books

King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), represented by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Center for the Restoration and Preservation of Historical Materials, sterilized the old manuscripts and books at King Fahd Glorious Qur'an Printing Complex. This stems from the keenness of KFGQPC to preserve the collections of KFGQPC library and what it contains of old manuscripts and books. KFGQPC holds an integrated library that includes several articles of various arts, including:

several articles of various arts, including: Glorious Qur’an and its sciences, the various types of interpretation, Hadith and its sciences, belief, Arabic language with its various sections, history, indexes of books and manuscripts and various periodicals.

 The number of the titles of the books in the library exceeds 7000 titles, and the number of volumes exceeds 15000 in various arts.

     Thanks to the mutual efforts of KFGQPC and the Darah, 57 manuscripts including collections and compendia, as well as 150 books have been sterilized.

     In conclusion, the Secretary General of KFGQPC praised the efforts of those in charge of this work of preserving rare books and manuscripts in KFGQPC library. He, also, extends his thanks to the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), represented by King Salman bin Abdulaziz Center for the Restoration and Preservation of Historical Materials, for their efforts.
