His Excellency the Minister meets the Kazakh Minister of Information and Social Development

His Excellency the Minister, Shaikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al Ashaikh, met in his office, today, Sunday, the eighth of Jumada al-Thani 1441 AH, at the Ministry’s headquarters, the Minister of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Dauren Abayev, and his accompanying delegation, who are currently visiting the Kingdom. At the beginning of the meeting, His Excellency welcomed the Kazakh Minister, noting the strong brotherly relations existing between the Kingdom and the Republic of Kazakhstan. He also asserted that the Kingdom is proud of its relations with its brothers in the Islamic countries, which contributes to achieving the principles of Islamic brotherhood and joint cooperation in various fields that serve humanity and Islamic action. His Excellency, the Minister, confirmed that the Kingdom, under the leadership of the Righteous King and Just Ruler, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and his Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammad bin Salman, may Allah protect them, is following up on the conditions of Muslims, and is doing its best to support them and adopt their causes in international forums, as the head of all Islamic world. His Excellency indicated that the Kingdom is the Qiblah of Muslims, and cares about Muslims all over the world. Moreover, it does its best to protect Islam from the tampering of the extremists, fanatics and the enemies of Islam. He stressed that the Kingdom adopts the approach of moderation, and follows the teachings of the Qur'an and the correct Sunnah of the Prophet since its establishment till today. Moreover, His Excellency indicated that defending the Kingdom is the duty of every Muslim, and the Rulers of this country are working day and night to serve Islam and Muslims, and to regain the snatched religious discourse used by extremist groups to seize power, which is rejected by Islam. He added that His Highness, Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman is making great efforts to spread moderation all over the world and renounce extremism. His Excellency the Minister, Dr. Abdullatif Al Ashaikh, expressed the pride of all the Saudis regarding the services provided by the wise leadership to the pilgrims of the Glorious Mosque, who have enjoyed security and safety since their arrival to the Kingdom, in addition to the qualitative services provided by the various state agencies, whose efforts combine to achieve the aspirations of the wise leadership to provide the finest services for the Guests of Allah. For his part, the Kazakh Minister of Information and Social Development, Mr. Dauren Abayev, expressed his happiness to meet His Excellency the Minister Dr. Abdullatif Al Ashaikh and senior officials in the Ministry, noting the warm reception and the usual generous hospitality, and he expressed his looking forward to strengthening the cooperation between the two countries to spread the values and tolerance of Islam, as well as moderation. Abayev praised the leading and pioneering role of the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his loyal Highness the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, may Allah protect them, in serving the Islam and Muslims, caring about the Two Holy Mosques and their pilgrims, and providing all facilities and distinguished services. He said: "I witnessed myself during my visit yesterday to Makkah Al-Mukarramah the great works for which we thank the Kingdom. We wish more success for Saudi Arabia.” The Kazakh Minister confirmed that the Kingdom is the home of Islam and the reference for all Muslims, and that defending the Kingdom is a sacred duty. He indicated that the media campaigns against the Kingdom will only increase the Kingdom's adherence to its principles, which are the reason for pride felt by all Saudis. The meeting was attended by the Undersecretary for Islamic Affairs, Shaikh Mohammad bin Abdul Wahid Al Arifi, and the Undersecretary for Mosques Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Saleh bin Saeed, and from the Kazakh side, the Kazakh Ambassador to the Kingdom, Mr. Berik Aryn, and the Consul General at the embassy, Michit Sirajit.
